C and H Crane Services, LLC can perform monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual inspections, all adhering to OSHA, ANSI/ASME, CMAA and NFPA 70(NEC 610). Our Certified Inspectors are specifically trained to not only perform these inspection tasks, but note manufacturer’s requirements in the reports. Our inspectors then notify the customer of these items. So, make sure the inspection is what you are paying for, not just an unexperienced inspector.

All Inspectors are Certified to Inspect your equipment and have ongoing training and annual re-certifications. We inspect all manufacturers of overhead bridge cranes, gantry cranes, semi-gantry cranes, monorails, jibs, hoists, hand-chain hoists, ratchet lever hoists, as wells as under hook devices, slings and rigging equipment.

C and H Crane Services, LLC Inspection program is different than other crane companies, as we offer a more thorough Inspection. We offer three different types of Inspections at three different costs:

1. BASIC Inspection is the lowest cost inspection and meets the minimum Federal requirements. This includes a visual and operational Inspection and DOES NOT include oil level/condition checks or any dismantling of brakes or couplings. The BASIC Inspection was designed for the companies who employ their own inhouse Crane Maintenance Department.
2. BASIC+ Inspection is the most popular inspection used by our customers. This adds Preventative Maintenance items such as oil level/condition checks, brake dismantling checks, and grease point lubrications. Hercules Crane Service, LLC has Crane/Hoist Service Manuals and make them available for a small charge.
3. BASIC+MR Inspection is our most complete and thorough inspection. It includes the BASIC and the BASIC+ Inspection items AND all manufacturer’s recommended maintenance requirements Mandated by Federal/State Law.

Generally, it takes from a half hour to 3+ hours to inspect a crane or hoist, depending on factors such as unit size, capacity, construction, year manufactured and access to the unit. Hercules Crane Service values your safety record by adhering to the strictest safety rules. Any unsafe item found that would result in an injury is reported immediately to our point of contact. This item is quoted for repair or replacement and if possible either made safe immediately or scheduled for the proper repair.

C and H Crane Services, LLC can load test Cranes, Hoists and under the hook devises. We use Calibrated weights or water weights, depending on the conditions. We perform new crane commissioning, which is the record keeping and load testing of a newly installed hoist or crane. We will complete all OSHA mandated paperwork and stickers.  A trained and certified crane/Hoist operator is an invaluable asset to your company. We believe a safe company only employs the best operators.
